The video is really impressive as it shows the technological advances that help improve the lives of people with disabilities who want to feel normal but this project is still in early stages, the exo-skeleton is quite similar to wheelchairs , crutches because it works with location sensors.

  2. Hi teacher Marco, I´m Sara Moncayo from 2nd Accounting. I think this experiments and invents are a good chance to the people who can´t walk, or an ability like other people, I think too, the people who needs this treatments and machines, need too this will be economics, because not all people have money to pay this things.I think too the doctors have to do more machines like this.

  6. Science has gone so far nowadays that being unable to walk is becoming no longer a big deal this is because of the advances that humanity is getting to using bionic technology as described on the video where a woman who was unable to walk is now able to use this technology on her favor allowing her to walk comfortably and supporting almost no weight on herself and this technology can also be used on military allowing the soldiers to carry heavy weights on their backpacks doing no effort on their bodies and also technology has gone so far that now blind people can use a device that can make them see certain shapes and even faces of their loved ones.
In my opinion it is really important that humanity keeps researching solutions for the biggest health problems that we are facing nowadays making people who have never been able to walk or see do those things again using advanced technology but as far as humanity use it only for good and not for doing war.

  7. Good afternoon Teacher Marco

I am Karla López from 2nd Social. I think Science goes according human necessity; that`s way nowadays we see in the video bionic technology helping people with their disease; inclusive doing actions only thinking in that.

We all hope that technology and Science find most of the answers to big troubles and safe lifes but it`s just when we open our mind for changes the right moment to keep looking more invents, ideas to make the world a better place today and for the future.

I am Camila Cahueñas of 2nd Fima.

I saw the video and it is very interesting know more of the bionic, now this science is not used only for the movies because they also can help people with problems in thier joints.
An example is Amanda she is 19 years and a freak skiing accident paralyzed her from the waist down, but she don't lost the hope now the science is too advanced and "Berkeley Bionics" create eLegs it is a exo-skeleton with crutches this device help people learn to walk again even has sensors to determine their location, their angle and their force.

This video is interesting because it shows how the technology has advanced and how in the actually is helping many people to be able to do activities that years ago they couldn't with this new device called eLegs that has 45 pounds of batteries, a computer and sensors. It also can be used on military allowing soldiers to carry heavy weights on their backpacks without doing effort.
I think we have to keep looking more solutions or ideas like this for improve our health.

This video is very interesting because it is about Amanda Boxtel who had a skiing accident 19 years ago. This accident left her paralyzed but she never gave up or was negative and he even makes ski. amanda's dream is to dance again and this dream is becoming reality thanks to new technology called an exo-skeleton which is bases on the structure of the legs and will be able to help Amanda to walk and lead a normal life and happy. This shows that the technology is very important as it helps us to improve the lives of others and improving our future.

I think this video is very interesting and amazing because this shows us that technology has advanced greatly, for example, this exo-skeleton with 45 pounds of batteries, a computer, sensors in the braces and in the crutches. This skeleton gives to disabled people the ability to walk and move around easily. Over time the technology will advance and may see managed to get new cures for other diseases and from this way so many lives will be saved.

This video is very interesting, because we learn how technology is recent years is helping paralyzed people do things they could not do before. We need to continue creating or looking for ideas to advance and well being able to help people who can not walk with this technology called exo-skeleton to their dreams of continuing to walk, and this technology helps to carry loads military without heavy effort.

    2nd. Q.B.
I think that the Science is going too far so because it is a window to the future of humanity. Its business extends far beyond the confines of laboratories and scientific journals. It inhabits our every waking moment, through the technologies we can use in our daily lives, to the structures of organization that govern our communities. It holds the attention of the world’s media on a daily basis. The Scientist has created the "muscles" of a robot, the parts which convert stored energy into movement. It is helping the humanity around the world By far the most popular actuators are electric motors that spin a wheel or gear, But there are some recent advances in alternative types of actuators, powered by electricity, chemicals, and it could save the lifes.

  15. Hello Teacher my name is Stefanny Tamayo

I think the advance Technology is a difficult and dynamic problem to solve. Several robots have been made which can walk reliably on two legs, however none have yet been made which are as robust as a human. where they could walk on 2 legs, but the technology is going too far the Science is everywhere in today’s world of our daily lives Advances in technology and science are transforming our world at an incredible pace, and our children’s future will surely be filled with leaps in technology we can only imagine. But everyone understands that, it has been taught to think critically, or been provided with the tools to analyze and test a problem or situation to our real diary life. The Science is the power the future.

  18. Hi teacher, I'm Jennifer Meneses from 2nd Chemical. I think this video is very interesting because it shows us how science is advancing creating new devices to improve the quality of life of some people who have diseases that have prevented them to do activities they love, in this case this mecanism will help people with their paralysis from waist down like Amanda Boxtel that had a freak skiing accident on the Aspen slopes that paralized her.
Bionic engineers have created a mecanism so that they can walk using a device called "eLeg", the most interesting of this device is that people don't feel weight on them. They are their own two feet. They don't even feel the weight of the backpack, because it's dispersed down into the ground and into the feet. This device is composed of an exo-skeleton with 45 pounds of batteries, a computer, sensors in the braces and in the crutches; with this invent Amanda will walk and maybe she will achieve one of her dreams, to be able to dance again.

I like this video because is very interesting and beautiful because it shows how the girl overcome her accident with the help of technology. I think the science is going too far because it continues to progress with time. The technology and science help make people happy because they help to fulfill their dreams and help them have hope to solve their problems. . In my opinion Amanda Boxtel is an example the perseverance and is an example of fighting of trying to fulfill her dream of dancing.
The video showed me that anything's possible because if you hope to fulfill a dream and fight for that dream will succeed. The video also taught me not surrender and move on.

I liked this video because shows us how technology is advancing day by day and how can transform a person's life in ways that only now could have been done, for example what happened to Amanda Boxtel when she had an accident that would paralyzed from the waist down, forcing her to use a wheelchair. Thanks to the advancement of science Amanda can walk again using a device called "eLeg" and maybe also she will can comply her dream of dancing again. The part that most liked of this video was when Amanda said "Anything is possible.", This phrase can inspire many people to keep fighting for their dreams and never say never and especially always keep hope. In conclusion the science is advancing quickly and in the future we will enjoy of these wonders.

  33. Hi Teacher! I´m Daniela Alejandra Pantoja Cabrera from 2nd Physical.I think that science gives great strides every day. A few years ago could not imagine things like this, that a machine make a person walk again looked like a crazy idea but now we realize that everything is possible as said Amanda. Maybe in some years she could dance again. I think it's extremely important to continue moving forward to help people who need it.If God gave us the ability to create machines that will accomplish great things, Why not do it?. Technology is part of our life today, the only thing we must not forget is that its use should be in a right way and for positive things. One of the creators of eLEGS said "Where the Ability of man stops Currently, the Ability of machines pick up", but I think that science surpasses this. It is not about surpass the possibilities of the human being is about help people in their needs and and allow their progress.

With it you can make robots and science fiction movies ised as stated in the video, and I think more than a diversion is to know how serious your life with them and takes us to another world of fiction, also excels in medicine prostheses that serve the future and give comfort to the human.

I think this very well that science goes away, because they are solving problems that may not previously have been resolved as the problem of the girl in the video and the goal of all human beings in life is to be happy and if we can become happy dancing, if many years stayed in a wheelchair and this is and been a limitation to be happy that I find beautiful travez of technology can make people happy and to get to fulfill their dreams.
