Donating money can be done comfortably on any budget, because every penny counts. Fundraising can be challenging, but the reward in the end makes all the hard work worth it. Whether you are helping the poor in your community or the poor around the world, you are doing a good deed and helping those less fortunate. Rachel is a normal child, apart from her routine she cares about children who live thousands of miles away from her but suffered an earthquake and ran out of food, and even less a place to call home. After watching this video, I said what is wrong in the world, what happen with the adults who do not help the people in need, nowadays we see many kids who do the things that adults have to do because they have more possibilities to help economic or in many ways to these poor people! I think Rachel is a brave girl, she is a normal teenager, she dances in her school, she laughs with her friends, but she does a different and an important activity that none do, she helps the people in need, she looks many ways to help them and that says too much of the values of this girl. Rachel has a big heart with good and true feelings; she vows to build homes to Haiti’s unsheltered, and give to these people the opportunity to continue with a normal life, with a safety place to call home, Rachel is rebuilding lives. I think the video is very interesting because it is about a girl called Rachel that is 12 years old that is helping poor people being member of a kind of foundation called "Food for the Poor", with this foundation she helps poor people and over all poor kids from Haiti that don't have anything to eat and that don't have a place to live, she is helping them giving food and got a lot of money to build a type of houses that shelter 27 families and some scools for them too. In the high school where I was before, when I was in 3rd course, we used to help poor people all saturdays giving them breakfast, I think it was a great job because with that we could learn that we have to value all the things we have because there are many people that don't have anything while we have everything.

Children are making a difference because they do not focus only on raising money, they are focused on trying to understand what's wrong with the world and helping the ones who really need a helping hand and with no expectations of getting back nothing else more than a smile and a thank you.
I've helped poor people by giving groceries and clothes for charity whenever I've had the possibility to do so.

She met Robin Mahfood, who is in charge of the biggest charity food for the poor in Florida who helped her sending food to people in Haiti. Rachel has a big heart with good and true feelings; she vows to build homes to Haiti’s unsheltered, and give to these people the opportunity to continue with a normal life, with a safety place to call home, Rachel is rebuilding lives.
In my particular case I have to say that I love to help people, I like to give a smile, to spend time with kids and in general with people that really need a solidarity hand.
this video is going to help all teens to have to help people most in need and do not let friends take the hard way that Rachel teaches us that it is a normal girl who laughs dancing and everything else but she also thinks in others they need a home and that for this earthquake happened 1 year and half ago Haiti was unable to leave it because it is a third world country and could not succeed but just need that children and she helps will help because the adults are not ....

ResponderEliminarI think the video is very interesting because it is about a girl called Rachel that is 12 years old that is helping poor people being member of a kind of foundation called "Food for the Poor", with this foundation she helps poor people and over all poor kids from Haiti that don't have anything to eat and that don't have a place to live, she is helping them giving food and got a lot of money to build a type of houses that shelter 27 families and some scools for them too.
In the high school where I was before, when I was in 3rd course, we used to help poor people all saturdays giving them breakfast, I think it was a great job because with that we could learn that we have to value all the things we have because there are many people that don't have anything while we have everything.

ResponderEliminarThis video show us how kids have great hearts inside of them, like the example of Rachel who has raised more than 250.000 dollars to help children from Haiti who were victims of the earthquake registered on 2010 that destroyed most of the country building earthquake resistant homes for more than 27 families on haiti where she has become a hero.
Children are making a difference because they do not focus only on raising money, they are focused on trying to understand what's wrong with the world and helping the ones who really need a helping hand and with no expectations of getting back nothing else more than a smile and a thank you.
I've helped poor people by giving groceries and clothes for charity whenever I've had the possibility to do so.

She first started raising money, looking then she was looking people who support her idea. This story tells us that you are never to young to help other people in need. That is the case of a young determined girl from Florida, whose name is Rachel Wheeler, an adolescent of twelve years old who is worried about kids who live in Haiti. Rachel was nine years old when an earthquake almost destroyed that country two years ago. She met Robin Mahfood, who is in charge of the biggest charity food for the poor in Florida who helped her sending food to people in Haiti. She started to raise money to help the kids victims of the earthquake by going to football games, sales, visiting local businesses, this way se could reach two thousand six hundred dollars, plus other contributions to amount to a quarter of a million dollars, money that was used, not only to build 27 homes, but also, to rebuild lives and for that reason Rachel became a hero for kids of Haiti
