Hi Teacher! I´m Daniela Alejandra Pantoja Cabrera from 2nd Physical. Personally I think this video is very helpful to us because it makes us aware of what happens on our planet, we can have a clearer focus on the reality of our world, such as these baby seals were found stranded on the Dutch coast after a storm. Luckily we also note that they are being kept and treated in a rehabilitation center in England to be healthy again. But if we take a closer look we can see that normally serve an average of 100 and are currently about 400 seals, which is worrying and makes us wonder. Why this increase? Do these storms that are affecting these animals are in part our fault? Yes, the environment suffers changes and is caused by damage accumulated over time, so we must be aware and try to correct it or at least prevent it and stop it but now.

Hi Teacher Marco¡¡¡ I am Alegria Proaño from 2 nd Q.B. In an orphanage in Amsterdam where hundreds of new born babies seals separated from their mothers. The babies are steal attached with the umbilical cord but they are been taking care of by volunteers at the orphaned now are four hundred infant seals. At mealtime, many hands are needed to fight worm infections. One marine biologist from Boston is one of the volunteers working around the clock nurturing the seals back to health. The seals are unluckily victims of the storm that are been battering Europe. In the Netherlands they are hoping to have success, the early sings are that this washed out seals have a good chance to survival. Thank You

Good night teacher Marco! I am Daniela Velasquez from 2nd Physical. After watching this video I feel so bad because we, the humans do not value our planet, we do not respect the animals and their home. This video as others we have seen makes us reflect and wonder ourselves what is wrong with us? Why do we damage the environment that is our home too? The idea of a sanctuary of seals is really interesting and helps too much to the animals that have problems for many reasons like weather or for activities that humans do. In these places the people who work there, take care of the animals, feed them and make them rehabilitation, as well as give them the necessary medicines. Nowadays the average of animals that are in danger has increased and we have to worry about these numbers, because normally we can see 100 seals but today are 400 seals. In some areas, a bounty exists on these animals because they sometimes damage fishing nets, the larvae of which live in fish and reduce their commercial value. This video relates the bad moment on which nature's children are found, because little seals must be separated from their families, the reason for this is that the weather is causing the sea level to keep high and doesn't let their mothers to take good care of the newborns. That's why the volunteers take the babies to a shelter where they take good care of them, feeding, grooming and giving them some anti worms medicine in order to make them be very strong to get them back to the sea, otherwise, most of them would be by now death or with serious diseases due to the lack of attention of their mothers beccause of the weather.

Personally I think this video is very helpful to us because it makes us aware of what happens on our planet, we can have a clearer focus on the reality of our world, such as these baby seals were found stranded on the Dutch coast after a storm. Luckily we also note that they are being kept and treated in a rehabilitation center in England to be healthy again. But if we take a closer look we can see that normally serve an average of 100 and are currently about 400 seals, which is worrying and makes us wonder. Why this increase? Do these storms that are affecting these animals are in part our fault? Yes, the environment suffers changes and is caused by damage accumulated over time, so we must be aware and try to correct it or at least prevent it and stop it but now.

In an orphanage in Amsterdam where hundreds of new born babies seals separated from their mothers. The babies are steal attached with the umbilical cord but they are been taking care of by volunteers at the orphaned now are four hundred infant seals. At mealtime, many hands are needed to fight worm infections. One marine biologist from Boston is one of the volunteers working around the clock nurturing the seals back to health. The seals are unluckily victims of the storm that are been battering Europe. In the Netherlands they are hoping to have success, the early sings are that this washed out seals have a good chance to survival.

The idea of a sanctuary of seals is really interesting and helps too much to the animals that have problems for many reasons like weather or for activities that humans do. In these places the people who work there, take care of the animals, feed them and make them rehabilitation, as well as give them the necessary medicines. Nowadays the average of animals that are in danger has increased and we have to worry about these numbers, because normally we can see 100 seals but today are 400 seals. The lucky baby seals that were found can continue with their lives but what happen with the ones that cannot have this help?
