Just before I watch the video, I think that the program “vets helping heroes” is really interesting and helps too much to the wounded soldiers that have given many years of their lifes in wars, the ones who cannot spend all the necessary time with their families, these soldiers who risk their lifes to danger, and in many cases they have gotten diseases really serious. That’s why this hero of 89 years old called Irwin Strovoff thought about this important idea that consist in giving soldiers canine help, giving angels to them. Angels that transmit peace and love, the ones those are really intelligent and help in the service of men and women recover from the wounds of war. Their goal is to help the heroes of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan get the assistance dogs they need. They strives to raise funds to meet the ever-growing needs of veterans and active duty military personnel who experience visual, physical, or emotional trauma. Requests from disabled heroes range from dual-trained dogs for balance or stability physical therapy, retrieval, responders to alarms, and assistance with activities of independent living to Trekker GPS training to therapy dogs for active military personnel - providing emotional support for those who have PTSD and other combat-related challenges. There are several different kinds of service dogs, including guide dogs, hearing dogs, mobility dogs, seizure alert and response dogs, psychiatric service dogs, and autism dogs. Service dogs are about any breed that we can imagine, depending on what job they perform. Larger dogs are used to pull wheel chairs, while smaller dogs might be more convenient for medical alert purposes. It all depends on the specific needs of the person with a disability.

Soldiers have come back from war after all the violence that young veterans passed throw, they need a phicological support; this man knowing the reality of those man and woman who are not included in the goverment program, so he decided to stablish a theraphy with dogs to the veterans of Irak and Afganistan. He inverts three million dollars growing up dogs. In most of the cases the dogs are a reason to realize they must be greatfull with God and life. For example Kathy Champion became blind for a virus cathes in Irak, hopeless and alone she quits her job, study but then her dog gave to her the life that she wasn`t expecting, a happy one. The message is clear: Do everything to make happy in a good way to fellow man.

This hero of 89 years of age is called Irwin Strovoff who thought of this wonderful idea, to help veterans by sharing their time with special dogs, these creatures are angels and achieve miracles. The proposal goes far beyond, it does not expect dogs to be just a company. Its objective is get people to overcome the wounds they suffered in the war and still remain inside. Irwin Stouroff has an impressive collection of medals he shows a picture of his plane been shot down this World War II hero was on his 35 th bombing mission over Nazi over France when his plane crashed behind enemy lines he was captured immediately and he taught he wasn’t going to live Irwin quickly threw away his dog tags which identified him as jewish and survived a year in a German P.O.W camp. Now 70 years later, Irwin of 89 years old is on a different mission. He has raised 3 million dollars to provide service dogs to wounded soldiers, including the once returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with his group called “Vets helping heroes” to train this dogs can cost 70.00 per dog and takes 18 moths to trained them to became a therapy dog.

Veterans from war had survived to the worst scenerios of death and violence, so in order to heal their war wounds a veteran raised 3 millon dolllars to train helping dogs which will bring some happines to the veterans making them feel really happy about life and making them forget what they went though.

ResponderEliminarJust before I watch the video, I think that the program “vets helping heroes” is really interesting and helps too much to the wounded soldiers that have given many years of their lifes in wars, the ones who cannot spend all the necessary time with their families, these soldiers who risk their lifes to danger, and in many cases they have gotten diseases really serious.
That’s why this hero of 89 years old called Irwin Strovoff thought about this important idea that consist in giving soldiers canine help, giving angels to them. Angels that transmit peace and love, the ones those are really intelligent and help in the service of men and women recover from the wounds of war.
A lot of people think that a dog cannot do much, but in this video we can see many experiences of people that are grateful with this animals that share and help this people in a different way.

EliminarIrwin Stovroff is an old man has been in military service, he is helping injured vets so they are Helping Heroes evolved from the Boca West VetDogs Fund, a special fund created by a WWII veteran and a Korean War veteran from Florida. Their goal is to help the heroes of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan get the assistance dogs they need. They strives to raise funds to meet the ever-growing needs of veterans and active duty military personnel who experience visual, physical, or emotional trauma. Requests from disabled heroes range from dual-trained dogs for balance or stability physical therapy, retrieval, responders to alarms, and assistance with activities of independent living to Trekker GPS training to therapy dogs for active military personnel - providing emotional support for those who have PTSD and other combat-related challenges.
There are several different kinds of service dogs, including guide dogs, hearing dogs, mobility dogs, seizure alert and response dogs, psychiatric service dogs, and autism dogs. Service dogs are about any breed that we can imagine, depending on what job they perform. Larger dogs are used to pull wheel chairs, while smaller dogs might be more convenient for medical alert purposes. It all depends on the specific needs of the person with a disability.

Soldiers have come back from war after all the violence that young veterans passed throw, they need a phicological support; this man knowing the reality of those man and woman who are not included in the goverment program, so he decided to stablish a theraphy with dogs to the veterans of Irak and Afganistan. He inverts three million dollars growing up dogs. In most of the cases the dogs are a reason to realize they must be greatfull with God and life. For example Kathy Champion became blind for a virus cathes in Irak, hopeless and alone she quits her job, study but then her dog gave to her the life that she wasn`t expecting, a happy one. The message is clear: Do everything to make happy in a good way to fellow man.

Just seeing the title of the video: "Veteran POW Provides soldiers with therapy dogs", we can imagine a hero who tries to make changes in their world, a world that already experiment in which triumphed and overcame all the problems of this.

Irwin Stouroff has an impressive collection of medals he shows a picture of his plane been shot down this World War II hero was on his 35 th bombing mission over Nazi over France when his plane crashed behind enemy lines he was captured immediately and he taught he wasn’t going to live Irwin quickly threw away his dog tags which identified him as jewish and survived a year in a German P.O.W camp. Now 70 years later, Irwin of 89 years old is on a different mission. He has raised 3 million dollars to provide service dogs to wounded soldiers, including the once returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with his group called “Vets helping heroes” to train this dogs can cost 70.00 per dog and takes 18 moths to trained them to became a therapy dog.

this video is very interesting because it show the history of ex soldier the war that after the being prisoner of a german camp, at 70 years old , raised $3 million to provide service dogs to wounded soldiers, including the wounded returning from irak and afghanistan . the training of this animals cost 70.000 and delay 18 months beginning in the puppy stage. the dog help the people to recuperate of the wounds of war.

ResponderEliminarThis video show us what an innocent creature can do for people who had survived to so many bad things as world war II. Veterans from war had survived to the worst scenerios of death and violence, so in order to heal their war wounds a veteran raised 3 millon dolllars to train helping dogs which will bring some happines to the veterans making them feel really happy about life and making them forget what they went though.
In my opinion this is a really great example of what making a difference is because there is no better therapy than the love of the family and of the innocent animals that love people no matter what happens.

This video shows us the catastrophic events that happened in Japan like the earthquake and the tsunami which destroyed many houses and leaving people homeless also many dead.
On the other hand, it shows us the solidarity of many countries had with Japan with medicine, beds, clothes, support and other things, how they want to help to rebuild their lives after the disaster which they lived, it is amazing how they make their best effort to progress and continue with their lives.
